Rentamos was not built by a SaaS startup chasing a market. It was built by the people who needed it most — the operators of a real European rental agency that grew faster than the software available to run it.

WHERE RENTAMOS COMES FROM
Globexs has been running furnished rental operations across Spain and Belgium since 2002. Over those two decades, the business grew substantially — hundreds of furnished apartments, corporate housing contracts, expat relocations, co-living spaces, multi-lingual teams, and owners across three countries expecting monthly reports. The operational complexity was real. The tools available were not.
The market offered two types of solutions. Generic CRMs — Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho — that could handle leads and contacts but knew nothing about rental contracts, deposits, cleaning schedules, or owner payouts. And property management software designed for either long-term residential letting or short-stay tourist rentals — neither of which matched what Globexs actually does. Temporary furnished rentals for expats and corporate clients sits in a gap that no existing platform was built to fill.
Over the years, the Globexs team evaluated every serious option on the market:
Great for sales pipelines. No understanding of rental operations, contracts, deposits, or owner reporting.
Not built for rental agenciesDesigned for annual leases and residential letting. Could not handle furnished mid-term rentals or corporate billing.
Wrong rental typeBuilt for Airbnb and nightly bookings. No support for 1–11 month contracts, multi-lingual tenants, or owner payouts.

Too much frictionIn 2023, after years of working around software that wasn't designed for an agency like Globexs, the founding team made a decision: stop adapting to inadequate tools and build the platform that should have existed all along. Eddie Elzer — who had spent 20 years building web platforms and hosting infrastructure — joined Lodewijk and Tiscar to lead the technical development. Rentamos was designed from day one around the real operational requirements of a furnished rental agency: multi-lingual tenant communication, flexible mid-term contracts, corporate invoicing, automated owner reports, team coordination, and AI that handles the calls no one has time to answer.
Every feature exists because someone on the Globexs team needed it and couldn't find it anywhere else. That is still true today — and it is the reason Rentamos works in a way that no software built by people who have never run a rental agency ever could.
The result: a platform built from the inside out.
Rentamos is now the operational core of Globexs — replacing six disconnected tools with one connected platform. In 2026, we made it available to other rental agencies. Because if it was this hard for us to find the right software, it's hard for everyone running this kind of operation.
